Andrew Raymond joins Guntin & Gust with substantial intellectual property law experience.  Mr. Raymond’s experience encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, litigation, opinion work and licensing. His practice has been comprised of major technology clients, with a particular focus on wireless communications networks/ devices/ standards (e.g., 3GPP LTE, LTE-A, LTE-A Pro, LTE-U, 5G NR; Wi-Fi/IEEE 802.11) and graphics processing/encoding (e.g., H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC).

Mr. Raymond’s extensive IP prosecution experience includes 8 years as a Principal at Kacvinsky Daisak Bluni, PLLC.  Additional prior experience is in litigation as an Associate Attorney at both Marshall, Gerstein & Borun, LLP and Jenner & Block, LLP.

Other Professional Experience

Mr. Raymond served as a Special Projects Analyst at Quaker Capital Management Corp. for two years, conducting portfolio analysis to support firm investment strategies and selections.
