Patent Counsel
Colin LaRose joins Guntin & Gust with over two decades of experience in intellectual property law and patent examination. Formerly a primary patent examiner at the USPTO, he specialized in ex parte post-grant proceedings, with technical experience spanning image analysis, electrical and software technologies.
At the Central Reexamination Unit, Mr. LaRose played a key role in examining reissue and reexamination proceedings in the electrical group, as well as mentoring peers and externs.
In his role at G&G, Mr. LaRose will utilize his insight and training to assist in the IP protection of the firm’s clients.
