With over 21 years of experience in patent law, Daniel Williams brings his commitment to innovation and intellectual property protection to Guntin & Gust. His career spans the full spectrum of patent-related work, including the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, litigation support, and conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate/product-clearance analyses.
Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has practiced at prestigious law firms, both general practice and IP centric firms. He has also played a role in launching a small start-up firm and founded one of his own. Regardless of firm size, he has always valued mentorship—both receiving guidance and mentoring others—believing the best way to refine one's skills is through learning from the best and teaching others.
