Mark Wilinski joins Guntin & Gust with 12 years of experience in intellectual property law. His practical engineering experience provides him with an added depth of understanding for client technologies and the ability to effectively communicate with engineers, inventors and senior counsel alike. Mr. Wilinski’s experience has spanned all aspects of intellectual property law including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, IP licensing, litigation support and trademark prosecution.
His key technological areas of expertise include: mobile/wireless and satellite communications, electro-mechanical systems, conveyance systems, industrial applications, biomedical devices, automotive technologies, computer hardware and software, semiconductor and memory technologies, social networking, computer networking and cable television technologies.
Prior Professional Experience
Mr. Wilinski was most recently with O’Shea Getz PC where he focused on patent preparation and prosecution and IP license and service agreements. Additional prior experience at Cantor Colburn LLP and Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. also included litigation support, clearance, and trademark prosecution.
Mr. Wilinski began his career as an Electrical Engineer with Parker Hannifin Corporation in their Electronic Systems Division. There he was involved in design of circuit assemblies for both civilian and mission-critical military aircraft; simulated design for functional and timing accuracy and signal integrity; and design of hardware/software for product testing and troubleshooting.
